Anti-corrosion PTFE varnishes (LF-32ln-2 (Russian code ЛФ-32лн-2) and LF-42l (Russian code ЛФ-42-л)) and PTFE-epoxy varnishes (LFE-32lnh (Russian code ЛФЭ-32лнх) and LFE-42lh (Russian code ЛФЭ-42лх)) are the solutions of the corresponding fluoropolymers (F-32ln, F-42l), epoxy resin (for PTFE-epoxy varnishes) and a curing agent (which is added before use) in a mixture of organic solvents. Coatings made of these varnishes have valuable properties of fluoropolymers: high chemical, weather and tropical resistance, elasticity, heat and frost resistance, as well as good dielectric and anti-friction properties. They also have high adhesion to metals, fiberglass, plastics, wood, rubber, glass and other materials.

Our varnishes are produced in accordance with technical standards (TU) and the state sanitary norms and regulations.

This type of varnish is used for coatings with low water and moisture permeability, high dielectric properties, as well as resistance to corrosive mediums. It is used in the radio engineering industry to protect printed circuit boards and it is also used in electrical engineering for protection against corrosion.

LFE-32lnh PTFE-epoxy varnish

From –60 °С to +180 °C

  • Mass fraction of solid residue – 14-25%

  • Funnel viscosity (determined by the VZ-4 viscometer) – 30-60 s

  • Film elasticity at bending, mm, – 1

  • Impact strength (determined by the U-1 instrument), cm, not less than – 50

This type of varnish is used to make anti-friction, anti-adhesive, oxidation-resistant and weatherproof coatings, varnished cloth and products that can withstand prolonged exposure to corrosive mediums and temperature fluctuations without substantial change to their properties. It has particularly high adhesion at low temperatures.

LF-42l PTFE varnish

From –190 °С to +150 °С (+200 °С – 300 °С for short periods)

  • Mass fraction of solid residue – 7-11%

  • Funnel viscosity (determined by the VZ-4 viscometer) – 30-60 s

  • Film elasticity at bending, mm, – not determined

  • Impact strength (determined by the U-1 instrument), cm, not less – 50

This type of varnish is used to make coatings that are characterized by high anti-friction, anti-adhesive, oxidation-resistant and weatherproof properties.

LFE-42lh PTFE-epoxy varnish

From –60 °С to +180 °С

  • Mass fraction of solid residue – 7-11%

  • Funnel viscosity (determined by the VZ-4 viscometer) – 30-60 s

  • Film elasticity at bending, mm, – 1

  • Impact strength (determined by the U-1 instrument), cm, not less – 50

This type of varnish is used to make coatings that are characterized by high anti-friction, anti-adhesive, oxidation-resistant and weatherproof properties.


Anti-corrosion varnishes are also used to produce various types of varnished cloth, enamels, and composite varnishes blended with other resins. They can also find use in the production of optical instruments.

Our anti-corrosion varnishes are applied in the usual way (by brush, dip coating, air and airless spraying, and others) on dirt-free and rust-free surfaces which have been sandblasted, beadblasted or chemically treated and degreased with acetone or gasoline. In order to improve adhesion, coatings made of PTFE-based varnishes may be subjected to heat treatment (from +150 °C to +270 °C), or they can alternatively be applied over a layer of an epoxy or butyrate phosphate primer or a layer of PTFE-epoxy varnish. PTFE-epoxy coatings can also be applied over a layer of priming.
