 PTFE heat-shrink tubes have good electrical and mechanical parameters and are used for insulation and sealing. After being put in a stretched state on an object and being exposed to heat, they shrink to their original sizes and take the shape of the object. We produce heat-shrink tubes of two types: type TTK and type OTK.

TTK and OTK tubes are used:

  • for electrical insulation and additional mechanical protection of lead wires as well as for the insulation of winding wire connections in the frontal parts of submersible electrical equipment;

  • for sealing probe cables in borehole geophysical equipment operating in contact with reservoir water, gas, and oil;

  • in radio electronics;

  • in the process of installing on-board electrical networks in vehicles.

PTFE heat-shrink tubes are resistant to oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, surfactants and many other substances at temperatures ranging from -50 °C to +200 °C. They are wear-resistant when used in atmospheric conditions and they are non-combustible. Our PTFE heat-shrink tubes have a unique chemical stability, high electrical insulation, anti-adhesion and anti-corrosion properties.

The tubes have the ability to shrink in diameter under the influence of heat. Shrinking is achieved at temperatures from +175 °C to +230 °C.

 We produce heat-shrink tubes of the following sizes:

Heat-shrink tubes range in colour from grey to black. They can be produced in other colours and sizes by agreement with the customer.
