 Heat-shrink tubes shrink when they are heated with hot air, flame or hot water. We produce PTFE heat-shrink tubes for use both in industry and everyday life.

Here are some of the qualities of PTFE heat-shrink tubes:

  • chemical resistance;

  • high heat resistance and frost resistance;

  • high electrical insulation properties;

  • exceptional anti-adhesive properties;

  • the ability to shrink in diameter under the influence of temperature.

Our PTFE heat-shrink tubes can be used:

  • as anti-adhesive and anti-corrosion coating of metal parts (such as shafts, mandrels, etc.).

Operating temperatures range from -60 °C to +230 °C.

Note:

If the customer wishes so, it is possible to manufacture tubes with a length not mentioned in the table below, but not longer than 2,500 mm. Pipe sizes and their thickness can also be customized provided that necessary accessories are produced.


The main technical characteristics of TAF PTFE heat-shrink tubes


The following technical standards (TU) apply to heat-shrink tubes made of fluoroplastic-4D manufactured by the methods of extrusion, sintering and thermal orientation.

PTFE heat-shrink tubes are meant for use as anti-adhesive and anti-corrosion coating of metal parts (such as shafts, mandrels, etc.).

The product legend for heat-shrink tubes shows the name and the type of the product, the material used, the inner diameter in the as-delivered condition and after shrinkage in an unbound state, the wall thickness, and the TU code.

The surface is smooth, without pores, bubbles or cracks. It may be slightly undulated and there may be traces left by the shaping tool. The colour varies from white to light-yellow.
